Peilin Song is a research mechanical engineer in ERDC/GSL with PhD in Robotics from U. of Toronto (1997). He had been on MSC.ADAMS development team in Ann Arbor before joining AMSAA (now DAC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a simulation engineer. He joined ERDC/GSL in 2019 as a M&S system architect and has been working on the various projects of M&S of autonomous systems (including ASTC, CASTLE and VEET). His technical interests are in development and application of multi-body dynamics, tire model formation and tire-terrain interaction, soft soil mobility, autonomous system simulation and AI-enabled simulation.
