Summit Speaker
Robert Belle-Isle
Robotics Software Engineer, Neya Systems
Robert Belle-Isle is a Robotics Software Engineer at Neya whose primary focus is on the integration between off road autonomy
and simulation software. He is a core developer on Neya's digital platform for testing autonomy as well as additional software
ranging from the GVSC-IS simulation platform to privately owned and operated products. In his time at Neya, he has developed
solutions for the simulated off-road AGV case such as an enhanced LiDAR cloud representation for vegetation filtering, accurate
vehicle physics when performing high speed missions and further defining the requirements to creating a digital twin. Robert is
constantly looking to improve the way we think about and use simulation alongside ground vehicle autonomy, working to further
push the possibility that digital environments can be used for rapid vehicle deployment in unknown scenarios.
